About Justin Montoya

Utah Roots.
Real Perspective.

Justin Montoya built Wasatch Equity Group on a simple idea: that a Utah buyer, seller, borrower, or investor deserves one advisor who understands the full picture — not a referral chain of specialists who've never met each other.

His perspective on real estate is personal. In 2008, Justin navigated a foreclosure firsthand. That experience — and what it cost him — shaped how he works with clients facing difficult situations today. No judgment. No pressure. Just a clear look at the options and what each one actually means.

Licensed as both a Utah real estate agent and a mortgage loan originator, Justin works across residential sales, investment property, and commercial real estate. He also founded Utah Revenue Radar, a revenue consulting service that audits local Utah businesses for hidden profit leaks and growth opportunities.

A Note From Justin

"Thank you for stopping by today! I'm a Utah native, and I'm grateful to be from such a unique and beautiful place. My happy place is spending time with my wife and daughters — now grown up — and getting out into the nature scenery around us, like the view above Sundance you see here. Helping people find their own home is one of the most fulfilling experiences I've had, and I hope we can meet to talk through your dreams." — Justin

What Clients Say

Real Results, Real People

When the first agents we spoke with said we would have to come out of pocket to sell our older, complicated first home, Justin used creative strategies and his vast network to drive competitive bids. We ended up clearing over $20k more than other agents said we would. His patience was incredible as we then searched from Tooele to Salt Lake to Ogden. When our inspection uncovered concerning matters, his expert negotiation got the sellers to fix far more than they initially wanted, ensuring we felt completely comfortable.

When our purchase hit a major roadblock with a delayed VA appraisal that threatened the deal, Justin worked directly with our lender to secure down payment assistance and an amazing rate. Every time a challenge came up, Justin was up to it. We have found our real estate agent for life.
